DESCRIPTION: Switzerland, man's gold quarter repeating pocket chronograph with triple calendar and phases of the moon, 16 jewels, stem wind and lever set, gilt plate movement with lever escapement in a 14 karat, yellow gold, plain polished hunting case with maker's details and awards on base metal cuvette, arabic numeral, double sunk white enamel dial with day and month apertures flanking the center arbor, date chapter at 12:00 and phases of the moon at 6:00, gold spade and whip hands, serial #145052, 55mm, 125.4g TW, c1915.
CONDITION: CASE: Shallow dents and dings, band; Fine scratches on outer surface of case; Very fine scratches on inner surface of case; Front cover with minor gap at band when closed; Bow loose, gold filled with brassing; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, light, seconds bit, 3:00, apertures to center, month aperture to seconds bit. HANDS: Good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very dirty; Spotting; Column wheel jumper with rust at screw; A few other steel parts with minor oxide. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Not running, broken mainspring; Runs with pressure on center wheel; Setting functional. COMPLICATION FUNCTION: Chronograph will function with pressure on center wheel, stops and resets to zero; Repeater functions correctly; Calendar functions when setting hands, correctors functional.
